Has your friend or partner recently received a promotion at his or her workplace? Do you want to plan a surprise party for her on the occasion? Planning a promotion party can be exciting, but you need to have the right things in order make the bash a successful one. Given below are some important factors that you will have to consider in the process, have a look:
Decide on the primary objective of the celebrations. You will be recognising the achievement of your dear one, and he or she is supposed to be the centre of attraction on that day. Therefore, you ought to do everything to make that person feel special.
You can either choose to bear the expenses all by yourself or ask for contributions from your relatives or mutual friends. But before gathering the money, make sure you fix a proper budget for the event that you are going to host.
Presenting a surprise and meaningful gift to the one who has got the promotion can make the event indelible for that individual. You can request everyone attending the party to sign the card which will be given along with the gift.
Date & Venue
First of all, pick a date that’s close to the day on which your friend or partner received the promotion. Also, the day should be a public holiday so that everyone can attend the party without compromising their schedule. The venue you choose will greatly depend on the budget. A restaurant or club can be more than perfect if your budget allows it. Otherwise, you may throw the party right at your home.
Decide in advance how many people you would like to invite for the event. If the concerned person doesn’t like crowded parties, consider informing few close friends and relatives only.
In order to keep the guests entertained, it is imperative that you arrange for 1 or 2 party games. You can host card or drinking games, or try something entirely off the books as per your preference.
Food & Drinks
Keep alcohol in the drinks, but make sure that nobody consumes in excess. Include light snacks in the menu, and keep other items in accordance with the time of the day that the party is being held. Don’t forget to order a cake - you can pick one from my vast range of corporate cakes.
