Cupcakes are one of the most perfect desserts to serve at any beach party. They can easily hike up the fun of the event and are loved by kids and adults alike. If you are planning to throw a beach party this month, you can serve your guests some really delicious and creative cupcakes. Just like every time, I have tried to make your work easier by penning down a simple yet delightful recipe for preparing beach party cupcakes. I hope you will enjoy it:
1. Blue decorating gel
2. Blue food colouring24 readymade cupcakes (vanilla or chocolate flavoured)
3. Vanilla frosting
4. Doughnut holes (plain)
5. ⅔ cup of vanilla wafers (finely crushed)
6. Fruit flavoured jelly candies
7. Licorice laces
8. Peanut butter sandwich cookies (use the ones shaped like peanuts)
9. Fruit leather rolls
Fill ¼ of a clean cup with the vanilla frosting and place it inside a microwave-safe bowl. Put it aside. Mix the blue food colouring with half of the remaining frosting. Use it for frosting 12 of the cupcakes and pipe waves onto them with the blue gel. Frost the rest of the cupcakes with vanilla frosting and sprinkle the crushed wafers on top of them to resemble sand.
Now heat the cup that you set aside earlier in the microwave for about 20 seconds on 100% power. Coat the doughnut holes with the melted frosting by dipping them in it, and then allow them to dry. Once the frosting coated doughnut holes dry, they would look like miniature beach balls. For creating panels on them, unroll the fruit leather, cut them in the form of 3-inch long strips and place four of them on each of the balls.
For making beach towels, cut the rest of the fruit leather into rectangles. You can make fringes at their ends if you like. Once you are done, roll the rectangles up to make them look like towels.
Make edible flip flops by separating the peanut butter sandwich cookies and scraping off their filing. Use the filling for attaching two short licorice laces to each of the cookies so that they look like flip flops.
You are almost ready. Serve the cupcakes with the edible beach balls, beach towels and flip flops on the platter to your invitees.
